Fans of the world-colliding global phenomenon will have the chance to pledge their allegiance to the Horde or the Alliance, as they step into the breathtaking world of Warcraft. Launching at Madame Tussauds London on May 24, 2016, before touring other Madame Tussauds attractions from Hong Kong to New York, the highly immersive pop-up experience will transport visitors into the enthralling land of Azeroth as they are thrown into the spectacular battle between humans and Orcs. As one of the world’s most popular entertainment phenomenon is transformed from computer screens to the silver screen – set to entertain and enthrall cinemagoers in June – its characters, including knight champion, Lothar (Travis Fimmel), and towering Orc warrior, Durotan (Toby Kebbell), will be immortalised in the Madame Tussauds touring experience. Furthermore, the courageous survivor, Garona (Paula Patton), will be created exclusively for the Berlin attraction. While Garona and Lothar are being created by Madame Tussauds dedicated team at its studios in west London, the seven-foot Orc chieftain, Durotan, and all the characters’ incredible costumes, armour and weapons are being recreated by the film’s five-time Academy Award®-winning concept design studio, WETA Workshop, in New Zealand.
