• What is the market as a whole, what are the influencers
• Goals on where they want to be, they try new things
• Knowing costs and desired or expected returns
• Steer away from the “I don’t do that”
• Collect and prioritize information
• Filter out the noise
• What is important? What is just a headline?
• Proactive and executes plans vs reacting to circumstance
• Execute when the plan falls in place, adjust as the influence changes
• Recognize what they don’t know vs what they do know
• Surround yourself with people that have a vested interest in your
success
