Department of English CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS Shakespeare Essay Prize Contest Shakespeare in the Spring The University of Akron Competition is now open for the following awards, to be presented during Shakespeare in the Spring week: One graduate prize $150 for the best graduate Shakespeare paper written in the last 12 months for a University of Akron English department course. One undergraduate prize $150 for the best undergraduate Shakespeare paper written in the last 12 months for a University of Akron English department course. Two other prizes $100 each in the honorable mention category for graduate and undergraduate Shakespeare papers written in the last 12 months for University of Akron English Department courses. Only one submission per person. Deadline for receipt of all submissions is 5 p.m. on March 15, 2013. To be considered by the Shakespeare contest committee, please submit two clean non-returnable copies of your paper to: Shakespeare Essay Prize Contest Attention: Dr. Joseph F.
