RESEARCH:
Current research interests span nuclear medicine, cardiac MRI, cardiac CT and nuclear
cardiology and include in-house, inter-departmental and multicenter collaborative research.
My primary interest is in the study of cardiac MRI utility in the evaluation of women with
angina and open coronary arteries, for which I am director of the cardiac MRI core laboratory
for the NHLBI sponsored WISE study. I am additionally involved in clinical nuclear
medicine research activities and have worked with radiology residents and medical residents
in producing abstracts and publications based upon general nuclear and cardiac imaging
cases.
