PRESS RELEASE MULTIPLAN ACQUIRES LAND PLOT OF 12 THOUSAND M² NEXT TO PARKSHOPPINGSÃOCAETANO Rio de Janeiro, June 19, 2013 – MULTIPLAN EMPREENDIMENTOS IMOBILIÁRIOS S.A. (BM&FBOVESPA: MULT3) announced the acquisition of a 11,6 thousand m² land plot in São Caetano do Sul, state of São Paulo, adjacent to ParkShoppingSãoCaetano. The area has a construction potential equivalent to seven times its size, and should be used for office tower projects and/or expansion of the mall. With this acquisition, for R$46.9 million, Multiplan increases its land bank for future development, from 619 to 631 thousand m², enhancing opportunities in one of the main growth regions in Brazil. Besides this new area, ParkShoppingSãoCaetano was conceived with a second phase expansion of 13.4 thousand m² and four office buildings already approved. ParkShoppingSãoCaetano, opened in November 2011, was selected in 2012 as the third best shopping center in São Paulo by the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo. With a full infrastructure of services, shopping and entertainment, the mall is located in Espaço Cerâmica, the first planned neighborhood in the region – an area of 300 thousand m² that integrates residences, offices and leisure.
