JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION:
ReStore Warehouse Assistant
ACCOUNTABILITY:
ReStore Manager
Description:













Direct/assist volunteers
Perform housekeeping duties in the shop and the ReStore retail area
Assist with keeping the warehouse free of hazards
Adaptable to a varying work schedule
Weekly cleaning of the washroom in the receiving area
Appropriate product pricing
Pick-up, receive, prepare, price and display merchandise
Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the receiving area
Move stock onto the retail floor on a daily basis
Work with Management to determine weekly sales items to move stock
Assist with designing areas of storage in the receiving area that promote better product
movement
All products and shelves to be kept in a neat and orderly manner
Other duties as assigned by Management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



Lifting heavy objects
Standing for long periods
Ability to work in a recycle environment
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:




Some experience in a sales environment
Ability to provide exemplary customer service
Assist retail staff with moving items and assisting customers when required
Knowledge of construction, renovations and building products would be an asset
