European Conference on Mathematical and Theoretical Biology 2011 Patricia Mostardinha University of Aveiro e-mail: [email protected] Fernão Vistulo de Abreu University of Aveiro Modelling Homeostatic Responses In this poster I will derive a set of differential equations describing the dynamics of a cellular frustrated system. I will concentrate on how the system is capable of performing immune responses that drive the system back to homeostatic control. In this way we show that cellular frustrated systems can respond to endogeneous or exogenous perturbations. The immunological significance of these results will be discussed, in particular in connection to autoimunity or tumour elimination. 1
