New Delhi, January 27th, 2015: Lava International Limited today announced the launch of V5, its latest offering
in the high end smartphone series with a great camera experience. V5 is designed to deliver an unmatched
photography experience as it comes equipped with advanced hardware such as Samsung 3M2 ISOCELL Sensor
and superior software features such as PDAF (phase-detection auto-focus). The PDAF feature helps the
camera focus on faster moving objects more accurately enabling

Standing true to the brand’s endeavor of blending design with
technology, the V5 sports great aesthetics with power of metal .
It has a vibrant 5.5inch 16M HD IPS (full lamination) display with a
scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Giving a stellar
performance, the smartphone is powered by a 64 bit 1.3 Ghz
MediaTek Quad Core Processor coupled with 3GB DDR3 RAM.
Internal storage is 16 GB further expandable upto 32 GB. It is
powered by Star OS 2.0 based on Android Lollipop 5.1
(upgradable to Marshmallow 6.0) and supports dual 4G SIM slots
(one 4G slot running at a time) with dual standby.
In terms of photography other than the ISOCELL sensor & PDAF
feature, the 13 MP Rear camera has a 5 layer LarganTM Lens with
blue Glass Filter, F2.0 Aperture with Dual LED Flash. The front
camera features an 8MP sensor with flash and an 84 degree wide
angle lens. The device also supports full HD (1080p) video
recording with digital zoom. In addition to this, the camera also
comes with Lava’s MagicPix software which offers modes such as
Beauty-fi for enhancing photographs, Pic Focus (focuses on the
image and blurs the background), Wide ‘selfie’ (similar to
panorama mode helps you take wide ‘selfies’), Night pro (Brighter
picture in Low light), GIF Maker , Intelligent Selfie and Multi-Angle

The smartphone also has Smart Wake Up, Gestures control, OTG Support and Super Power Saving Mode. The
Intelligent Flip Cover, available in white and Black options, can be purchased separately at all stores selling
Lava devices. Apart from 4G network support, connectivity options on Lava V5 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS
with GLONASS and 3G. And to ensure an uninterrupted experience, it packs a strong 3000mAh Li-Po battery.
