Northern White Cedar: Thuja occidentalis
Native. 30-50 ft tall. Shade tolerant. Moist to wet soils.
Common Tree of bogs and swamps. Slow growing, but long lived. Great
for deer and other wildlife cover.
Norway Spruce: Picea abies
Ornamental. 50-85 ft tall. Shade-Tolerant. Moist Soils.
Fast-growing. Mature trees with characteristic hanging branches.

Ornamental tree that grows under other trees, wetland or forest edges.
Widely used for bright flowers. Good wildlife tree.
White Oak: Quercus alba
Native. 50-70 ft tall. Intermediate shade tolerance. Variety of soils
Good timber tree and wildlife fruit tree.
Pin Oak: Quercus palustris
Native. 40-60 ft tall. Sun loving. Dry sandy soils.
Fast growing oak, with heavy fruit crops for wildlife.
