Global Services Alliances At-A-Glance for Partners At-A-Glance Collaboration That Improves Support to Customers Throughout the Network Lifecycle and Around the World Cisco Global Services Alliances Cisco© Global Services Alliances combine the forces of Cisco and select, highly-qualified strategic partners to offer customers consistent and effective IT support throughout their networks’ lifecycle. The Alliances drive closer collaboration between Cisco and our alliance partners, resulting in strategic alignment, business revenue growth, and customer loyalty. How A Partner Qualifies To qualify as a Global Services Alliance partner, a candidate must be a Cisco multinational partner in US&C, Japan and also two of the following theaters: Emerging, European, and APAC. In addition, each candidate must have a Global Commerce Specialization, and must sell more than $400 million USD net annually in global bookings of Cisco products and services.* You must also agree to make the following investments: • Align business processes by linking your support systems to Cisco support systems (such as quoting, ordering, call management and third-party maintenance support) • Develop and implement new complementary service solutions to Cisco Services and/or Collaborative Services • Develop and implement new contracts and sales processes to offer end-user customers Collaborative Services or Cisco Services Partner Benefits By working better together, Cisco and our Global Services Alliance partners become strategically aligned and uncover new revenue growth opportunities through: • A broader services portfolio that covers the network lifecycle • Collaborative Services, which bring together the complementary strengths of Cisco and our qualified partners • Aligned and streamlined business processes (such as quoting, ordering, call management and third-party maintenance) • Financial incentives that reward high performance In addition, you have Cisco sales force support, which encourages proactive, high-value service selling. Global Services Alliances At-A-Glance for Partners At-A-Glance Collaboration That Improves Support to Customers Throughout the Network Lifecycle and Around the World Global Services Alliance Partners Currently, four strategic global partners have joined with Cisco in Global Services Alliance contractual agreements: The Collaborative Services that are orderable today from Cisco are part of the Operate phase of the network Lifecycle, and include: • Dimension Data • Cisco Technical Support Service • HP • Software Application Support Service • IBM • Collaborative Remote Management Service • Orange Business Services (OBS, formerly Equant) Collaborative Services Collaborative Services bring together the complementary strengths of Cisco and our qualified partners to deliver a consistently excellent service experience. These joint service offerings combine Cisco’s networking expertise and best practices together with the partner’s business knowledge and personalized service. Customers benefit from accessible partners who understand their business needs, while taking advantage of Cisco’s proven methodologies, worldwide resources and tools. Through this collaborative approach, customers get assurance from Cisco with single-source accountability from the partner. Collaborative Services are designed to address needs across the network lifecycle, giving customers “the best of both worlds” from Cisco and our partners.
