ASL-English Interpretation Program
offers the option to pursue a BA Degree or
a Two-Year Professional Certificate. The
baccalaureate degree is offered in
collaboration with Empire State/SUNY.
The program, the only one of its kind in the
Metropolitan New York City Tri-State area,
is a rigorous and well-regarded training for
a career as an ASL-English Interpreter.
The program also offers a Pre-Interpretation
Program as a bridge that will assist you in
acquiring the skills needed to be accepted
into the degree or certificate programs.

Baby Fingers' Mommy & Me
Sign Language Classes
Sign Language for infants and toddlers &
their parents. Three levels of Mommy &
Me Sign Language Classes are offered for
parents and their hearing infants, as young
as one month old, and toddlers up to age
three.
Our Continuing Education Program
offers five levels of ASL classes that are
designed to help you develop ASL
communication competency. You will
learn the skills of grammar, vocabulary,
expressive and receptive skills, and
experience discussions about Deaf Culture.
Specialized workshops, to help enhance
your ASL skills, are offered throughout
the year.
Intensive Study in American Sign
Language is available for the continuing
education student seriously wishing to
advance their studies further. Three levels
of ASL are offered jointly with the college's
Academic Division.
Deaf Studies, a Liberal Arts Associate
in Arts Degree, offers an extensive set of
courses in ASL for college credit. Language
development is supported, expanded and
reinforced through internships and other
assignments that involve interactions with
diverse ASL users.
