Weekly Spelling, Writing, Vocabulary, and Penmanship Activities
Each week you will have 21 new spelling words. 7 will be introduced on Monday, 7 on Tuesday, and 7 on Wednesday. You will be given a
list of all 21 words on Monday to take home and practice. Each week you will be required to choose activities that will not only help you
learn the spelling of the words, but will also help you become a better writer, improve your penmanship, and increase your vocabulary.
Here's how it works:
Every week, choose one activity from each section for a total of three activities. On Monday, do those three activities for your seven
Monday words (four for section B), on Tuesday do them for your seven Tuesday words (four for section B), and on Wednesday do them
for your seven Wednesday words (four for section B). You can work ahead, but don't get behind or you'll have too much to do all at
once! They are due on Thursday but can be turned in early. Check off the activities you are doing on this sheet, label each paper with the
activity number, and staple them to this sheet. Have fun!
