For example, ./install --install-dir InformaticaIR/iir forces the installer to use the InformaticaIR/iir subdirectory instead of the default InformaticaIR directory. (IIR-1478) Installing to a Preexisting Directory Before you install a product, verify that no empty directory exists with the same name as the installation directory. (IIR-572) Fixed Limitations Review the Release Notes of previous releases for information about previous fixed limitations. IIR-RLN-95300-0001 1 The following table describes fixed limitations: 2 Reference Number Description IIR-1557 When you try to add flat-file fields for the second time to an IDT, the SDF Wizard displays the following error message: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException IIR-1572 After you edit an IDT layout, if you close the tab and open it, the SDF Wizard displays the following error message: com.informatica.iirworkbench.util.IIRAssertion: cloned object is not equal to original IIR-1574 If you update an IDX and select to discard the changes, the SDF Wizard validates the changes and displays an appropriate error message. IIR-1576 If you do not provide Generic Search Label when you define a Generic Search, you cannot save the SDF although you do not see any error message. IIR-1585 In the SDF Wizard, when you edit a search and save it, the SSA-NAME3 Purpose value becomes blank. IIR-1587 On the Key Structure tab, if you add a Key Data to an IDX , the SDF Wizard shuts down unexpectedly. IIR-1597 On the IDT Input Filters tab, if you provide large integer values, the SDF Wizard shuts down unexpectedly. IIR-1523 The updmulti utility runs slow because of the preset waiting time for each duty cycle. IIR-1629 The Table Loader fails after 7200 seconds because of the socket timeout error. Effective in version 9.5.3, you can control the timeout duration through the SSA_SOCKET_TIMEOUTS environment variable. For information about SSA_SOCKET_TIMEOUTS, see Informatica Identity Resolution 9.5.3 Operations Guide. IIR-1641 The Load IDT operation fails when the source and the target schemas are different. The issue is applicable to both Oracle and DB2 UDB. IIR-1598 A record with initials does not score the same score as it scored in version 2.7.04. IIR-1529 Individual Match Purpose might return incorrect scores. IIR-1526 When you try to edit a system, the Console Client returns the following error: Error: Unexpected error IIR-1499 You can create a system by using an existing SDF that has an empty section definition or a duplicate or an unrecognized section type. However, if you try to edit or export the system, the edit or the export operation fails. IIR-1438 You can create a SDF even though you select the same PK value for all the IDT fields. IIR-1417 For the concatenated fields, the SDF Wizard does not adjust the target field length to accommodate the additional spaces. IIR-RLN-95300-0001 Closed Enhancements The following table describes closed enhancement requests: Reference Number Description IIR-800 Identity Resolution includes the following changes in the population files: - - - - The Person_Name, Organization_Name, and Address_Part1 fields are enhanced. The affected population is chinese. The Organisation_Name field has an updated edit list. The affected population is korean. The address edit list changes RUE from Street Skip to Street Delete. The affected population is france. The Person_Name field removes the ST prefix rule and changes the SANTOS to SAINT replacement rule to a SAINT to SANTOS secondary name rule. The affected populations are australia, canada, gaelic, india, indonesia, international, ireland, new_zealand, south_africa, singapore, uk, usa, and sfms. The Address_part1 Conservative match field rule corrects a problem when cloning purposes using the Population Override Manager. The affected populations are arabic, chinese_i, ofac, sfms, and taiwan_r. The Person_Name field adds the missing variation YEKATERINA To KATHERINE. The affected populations are arabic_m, australia, canada, chinese, gaelic, india, indonesia, international, ireland, new_zealand, south_africa, singapore, uk, usa, and sfms. The Organisation_Name field removes the Person name rules. The affected populations are australia, canada, gaelic, indonesia, international, ireland, new_zealand, philippines, south_africa, uk, usa, and sfms. The Organisation_Name field does not treat words with both digits and characters as codes. The affected populations are australia, belgium, brasil, bulgaria_c, bulgaria_r, canada, chile, colombia, croatia, czech, denmark, estonia, finland, france, gaelic, germany, hk_r, hungary, india, indo_chin_r, indonesia, international, ireland, italy, luxembourg, malaysia, malta, mexico, netherlands, new_zealand, norway, peru, philippines, poland, portugal, puerto_rico, romania, russia, singapore, slovakia, south_africa, spain, sweden, switzerland, taiwan_r, thailand, turkey, uk, usa, and vietnam_r. The Standard Key Level removes an incorrect option that generated a single key for any data that is passed. The affected population is japan. All the Standard Populations include Code Fields as a key field type. The supported code fields are Date, Telephone_Number, VIN, ISBN10, ISBN13, CreditCard, and Code. For more information about the code fields, see Informatica Identity Resolution 9.5.3 Populations and Controls. The changes affect all the Standard Populations except aml, ofac, and sfms. Known Limitations The following table describes known limitations: Reference Number Description IIR-1709 The Stop Job button is enabled for the parent process even though you cannot stop the parent process. IIR-1688 The dblist utility fails to test an ODBC connection to a source database if you have not run the supplied database configuration scripts against the source database. IIR-1627 The ssachdb utility cannot update the source database connection string that the Rulebase stores. IIR-1554 The SDF Wizard does not generate the SDF file correctly for a flattened IDT if you do not specify the DENORMALIZED-VIEW keyword. IIR-1539 When you use the Organization purpose for matching records, if the ID field of one record is a subset of the ID field of another record, the ID fields get 100% match score. IIR-RLN-95300-0001 3 Reference Number Description IIR-584 In the Job Editor, the Execute SQL step lists ssa as one of the supported logon types. You cannot use this logon type because the Execute SQL step does not use the database dictionaries. IIR-1564 Identity Resolution does not support Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 11.0. Workaround: Use the Microsoft ODBC Drivers for SQL Server. IIR-1883 You cannot create more than one system in the SDF Wizard. Workaround: Close the SDF Wizard and open it. IIR-1677 If you start the Update Synchronizer before you deploy a system through the SDF Wizard, the system does not synchronize the data with the IDT. Workaround: Restart the Update Synchronizer. IIR-1513 The uninstallation of Identity Resolution might fail. Workaround: Remove the installation directory and the following Windows registry entries: - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Informatica\IIR\<Product Version> - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Informatica 4 IIR-1556 After you deploy a system by using the SDF Wizard, the system is not visible in the Identity Resolution Console. Workaround: Restart the Identity Resolution Console. IIR-1547 When you create a system on a computer and deploy it on another computer by using the SDF Wizard, the deployment might fail. Workaround: Try to deploy the system on the computer on which you created the system. IIR-1524 Concatenating multiple source fields into a single IDT field might create a line that is longer than the maximum length of 255 bytes. Loading such SDF fails. IIR-1478 If you install a product in a subdirectory of the InformaticaIR directory, any subsequent tries to install a product fails. Workaround: Specify the --install-dir parameter when you start the installer. For example, ./install --install-dir InformaticaIR/iir forces the installer to use the InformaticaIR/iir subdirectory instead of the default InformaticaIR directory. IIR-1878 If you rename a SDF and load it, the changes do not apply to the system because the file name and the system name defined in the file do not match. IIR-1832 After you define a search, if you change any IDX, it results in unspecified behavior. Workaround: Define another search for the IDX. IIR-1660 On DB2 UDB, if you set DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR=ORA, loading IDT fails during the trigger creation step. IIR-1144 When you use MySQL database, you might encounter the following error: [018092952 ssasrsv 8/ 16] errmsg_put 'ssa_odbc_connect: [02] Reason: [MySQL][ODBC 5.1 Driver]Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)' Workaround: Install the latest version of MySQL Connector. IIR-RLN-95300-0001 Reference Number Description IIR-1713 If you do not provide the Connection Server details during the Identity Resolution installation, running the idsup.bat file or the idsup shell script does not start the Identity Resolution Server. IIR-1915 After saving a search, if you try to update it, the SDF Wizard clears all the search fields that you selected in the Search Fields list. You cannot save the search. Workaround: Close the Search tab and open it. IIR-1485 On HPUX IA64, the SDF wizard fails to start and displays the message The SdfWizard executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library. Workaround: Add executable permission to the associated Eclipse library: cd $SSATOP/iirworkbench/plugins/ cd org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.motif.hpux.ia64_32_1.0.2.R34x_v20081125 chmod a+x eclipse_1116.so IIR-994 Search fails and displays the message NAME3V2 ssan3_match_encoded call failed 'Missing matching bracket'. Workaround: Limit Controls parameters to 256 characters. IIR-927 The Match Explain function does not work with multiple purposes. IIR-716 SDF Wizard does not start in Solaris AMD64 or AIX. Workaround: Install and run the SDF wizard on a Windows machine. IIR-578 The -y option in Dupfinder and Relate does not show flattened and repeating fields correctly.
