Objectives: The society aims to achieve the following objectives: 1. Develop professional thinking in the field of orthodontics and the promote scientific and professional practice of the society members. 2. Providing the chance for all orthodontic professionals to participate in the scientific advancement of the field. 3. Facilitating the exchange of scientific and professional information between the society and various institutions inside and outside the Kingdom. 4. Providing consultations and performing studies that will promote the level of orthodontics related to the different medical organizations. 5. Cooperate with the Ministry of Health and the Saudi Council for Medical Specialties, in outlining the standards of the practice of orthodontics and taking part in supervising and maintaining an acceptable standard of patient care. 6. Members of the society were selectively elected based on the qualification and ambition to make the society a formal reference to science and technology in the orthodontic field. The society is committed to involve all various parties in the orthodontic society to gain the best quality of experience and reference and raise the awareness of orthodontics. 2.4 President message: 2.5 Head quarter map location: 2.6 Become member: Membership conditions and procedures: There are three types of membership:(A) Full membership, conditioned by: 1- The applicant must be holding a recognized Certificate in orthodontics. 2- The applicant should be a resident of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or of one the Gulf States. 3- The applicant should forward an application to the society. 4- The applicant shall pay the annual registration and subscription fees as decided by the society. 5- An acceptance of the membership is issued by the Society Board of Directors, and the applicant is then informed. (B) Honorary Membership: This is to be granted by the society Board of Directors to those who provided the society with material and non material services, or participated in the development of the Society activities whether they are from inside or outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The award of the honorary membership is decided upon by the Society Board of Directors after the approval of the general assembly. The honorary member is exempted from registration and subscription fees and shall have the right, even if not specialized, to attend the general assembly sessions and participate in discussions, but he shall not have the right to vote.
