For instance, you may miss the “Understanding Your Hearing Loss” class in February but you can attend again in May. We recognize that schedules are busy and want to be as flexible as possible to meet the needs of all of our clients. Attend one, not another. Do whatever works for you. Whenever you will be attending, please call the clinic to register 860-486-2629. We encourage you to come with a significant other such as a spouse, adult child, and/or friend. While you may have the hearing loss, your family and friends, as you both well know, share your communication difficulties. Even if you have worn hearing aids for some time, you can still benefit from participation in this program. There is no additional charge for our Living Well with Hearing Loss and Hearing Aids class. It is part of the fees you pay when you purchase hearing aids from the University of Connecticut Speech and Hearing Clinic.
