Our MPLS-based transmission protocol is built to overcome the limits of standard license-free protocols and to deliver a
wireless network infrastructure with a higher level of reliability. Our innovative transmission protocol is based on a traffic
optimization algorithm that allows every Fluidmesh radio to assign a specific level of priority and reliability to every packet
transmitted.
AUGMENT CELLULAR NETWORKS AND EXTEND
CONNECTIVITY THROUGH TUNNELS
A FLUIDITY network can reach where 3G/4G LTE networks don’t, like in tunnels. You can use FLUIDITY to augment wide
area cellular coverage with high speed corridors, while retaining cellular for low-speed,long- range connectivity.

FLUIDITY. AN MPLS LABEL SWITCHING
TECHNOLOGY PROTOCOL
The MPLS-based protocol establishes virtual pipes ahead of time so
no packet routing is needed. This results in a very reliable wireless
network with extremely low latency. When FLUIDITY is activated
on a on-board train radio that is roaming at up to 200 mph through
the wireless network, the track-side radios make a real-time choice
of the best pipe through the fixed network. With a 3 millisecond
hand-off between the track radios and the train radios, the network
can support up to 100Mbps of seamless streaming content in both
directions.

FLUIDITY REQUIRES:
• One or more radios on the train, depending on the application.
• An array of track-side radios. The radio density depends on the topography and the line of sight around the track.
• A wired or wireless backbone network for the trackside radios. This can be made using fiber, copper or wireless
Fluidmesh radios.
