B. That is more than half of the Bible Books!
1. I do not mean that the Bible references it only 35 times, but
2. many of those Books mention it multiple times!
II. Truly, the Bible mentions it over 300 times!
A. If the Bible says something three times,
B. do you think we should pay heed to it?
1. What if the Bible says something 300 times?
2. What if the both Testaments make a major issue of it,
a) should we also make a major issue of it?
b) What if we dismiss it,

(1) do you think that will please the Lord?
(2) If it is important to God, we should make it important to us.
III. What is the “it” that the Bible references?
A. The Bible references creation and God as the Creator hundreds of times,
B. building beliefs and teachings upon the fact of creation.
1. Nature as a creation is a central theme of the Bible.
2. God as the Creator is also a central theme of the Bible.
Persuasion:
I. How the Bible Begins 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Gen 1.1). II. Man’s Creation Based on God’s Image 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;
let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and
over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on
the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He
created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them,
and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;
have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every
living thing that moves on the earth” (Gen 1.26–28). III. Marriage Based on Creation 18 And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will
make him a helper comparable to him.” 19 Out of the ground the LORD God
formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to
Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living
creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds
of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a
helper comparable to him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall
on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in
its place. 22 Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made
into a woman, and He brought her to the man. 23 And Adam said: The Bible Mentions It Over 300 Times!; Gen 5.1–2;

“This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” (Gen 2.18–23). 4 And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made
them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the
two shall become one flesh’? 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh.
Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate” (Matt 19.4–6). IV. Genders Based on Creation 1 This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man,
He made him in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female, and
blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created (Gen 5.1–
2). V. Death Penalty Based on Creation 6 “Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man.” (Gen 9.6). VI. Individual Characteristics Based on Creation 11 So the LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the
mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD?” (Exo 4.11). 8 “Your hands have made me and fashioned me, An intricate unity… (Job 10.8) VII.Prayer Based on Creation 15 Then Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said: “O LORD God of Israel,
the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the

kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth” (2Ki 19.15). VIII.Worship Based on Creation 4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. 5 The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. 6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. 7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. (Psa 95.4–7) 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who
sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall
down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever
and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” (Rev 4.9–11) IX. Longing for Eternity Based on Creation 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in
their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end (Ecc 3.11). X. Encouragement and Hope Based on Creation 27 Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the LORD, And my just claim is passed over by my God”? 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Bible Mentions It Over 300 Times!; Gen 5.1–2;

The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. (Isa 40.27–28) XI. Book of John Based on Creation 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through
Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1.1–3). XII.Glorification of God Based on Creation 36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory
forever. Amen (Rom 11.36). Exhortation:
I. What do you base on creation?
A. Base on your lives on the fact
1. that there is a God in heaven and
2. that He created you.
B. That will change your perspective on everything.
II. It will also open your eyes to see
A. that if God created you,
B. that if you had a beginning,
1. He must have something in mind for you, and
2. He just might want a time of accountability with you.
III. Belief in your mortal beginning will determine your eternal destiny.
A. See what happens to your mind when you see yourself as a creation.
B. Then watch how it affects your behavior which will determine your destiny.
IV. Become a faithful Christian today.
