DELTA 4000
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Delta 4000 is a RITE* hearing device where
the receiver is placed directly in the ear canal
and the amplifier is placed behind the ear.
Delta 4000 features Automatic Fixed
Directionality and modulation based Noise
Management. The choice of 3 types of ear
pieces and two amplification strategies makes
Delta 4000 suitable for both new and
experienced users with any configuration of
hearing loss up to 80 dB flat.

*) Receiver In The Ear
The device consists of four
principal elements:
❍ Amplifier unit. Integrating two
state-of-the-art microphones and
an advanced amplifier.
❍ Receiver unit. The speaker is
connected to the amplifier via
a thin wire.
❍ Ear piece. A dome or Micro Mould
positions the speaker comfortably in
the ear canal.
❍ Ear grip (optional). The Ear grip
follows the contour of the ear to
ensure a secure and comfortable
grip.

Features
❍ Automatic Fixed Directionality
❍ Modulation based Noise
Management
❍ Manual Adaptation Manager
❍ Frequency range up to 6000 Hz
❍ 3 to 5 channels depending on ear
piece and amplification strategy
Audiological concept
❍ Clarity: The amplification strategy
in Delta for mild high frequency
hearing losses is designed to boost
clarity and thereby enhance speech
understanding, especially in noisy
surroundings.
❍ Voice Aligned Compression(VAC):
The amplification strategy in
Delta for broadband hearing losses
provides curvilinear compression
with up to seven kneepoints and is
designed to restore both loudness
and clarity in all listening situations.
