Principal Investigator: Monica Yamamoto, Ph.D. Diagnostic Radiology for Fourth Year Medical Students The introduction of Radiology of the sophomore year to give the student a fuller understanding of the extent to which the principles of anatomy, physiology and pathology can be demonstrated by the use of anatomical imaging methods in clinical diagnosis. Lectures, demonstrations and seminars are held to upgrade the students' knowledge of regional imaging from sophomore to senior standard. Students attend departmental teaching conferences. The elective is planned so that students are able to survey the field of radiology, and to gain special experience in areas of individual interest.
