AGREEMENT ON GROUP COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT 2017 – 2020 DANSKE KREDS Dear member, It is now time to vote on the new Group collective agreement which covers all employees in Danske Bank employed under a group contract up until 1 April 2020. We have adhered to our Group collective agreement which has a good and flexible framework for organising work and the positive distinctions between the standard collective agreement and the Group collective agreement – for example in the form of additional supplementary pensions and holiday bonuses, better remuneration for overtime work, more flexible terms and conditions for part-time work for parents with small children and the possibility of taking more time off in the event of a child’s illness. We are fundamentally very pleased with our collective agreement. Therefore, during the negotiations, we have focused on increas- ing the level of pay for all our members – and we have succeeded. As a member of Danske Kreds and the Financial Services Union (Finansforbundet), you now have to decide on the result. At Danske Kreds, we are satisfied with the outcome, and we recommend that you vote yes in the ballot. However, before you vote, you can read more about the agreement here. AGREEMENT ON GROUP COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT Pay increases Pay increases for everyone In the standard agreement, 4.20% has been earmarked in the collective agreement period for general pay increases for all employees, as well as a local financial framework of 1.65% which has been negotiated as part of the Group collective agreement. In our preparations for the collective bargaining, members expressed a clear desire for more pay in the form of higher salaries for everyone. This has therefore been our top priority during the negotiations. We are both happy and satisfied that we reached agreement with the Group on giving a total of 1.65% for general pay increases over the next three years. This means that employees in Danske Bank can look forward to the same overall pay increase as the rest of the industry as formulated in the new standard collective agreement (4.20% + 1.65%). day supplements and additional supplementary pensions. However, it is necessary to emphasise that the use of a gross salary scheme is entirely on the employee’s own initiative. children at home all day will thus have the same right to part-time work as biological parents – although without payment of pension contributions of the same standard working hours. If the members vote yes to the agreement, the parties must discuss these initiatives and possibly implement them in the collective agreement period up until 2020. The right to parental leave – foster parents Individual allowance Employees who are foster parents for an infant aged 0-12 months are entitled to parental leave without pay and pension contributions until the child reaches the age of 1 year. The model for the individual allowance that we have known since 2012 was agreed on a trial basis between Danske Bank and Danske Kreds. During the period, the model has been evaluated by both parties, and during the negotiations we have not reached agreement on a model that sees the trial being implemented on a permanent basis. This means that we, in the new Group collective agreement, go back to the model for granting the individual allowances that we had up until 2012. The individual allowance will thus in future be established on the basis of an overall assessment of the employee’s efforts and results in relation to the following criteria: • Cooperation • Quality • Customer service • Efficiency Working hours On-call duty There is agreement that, in future, it is possible for the manager and employee to agree up to 60 on-call duties. The union representative must be informed of such an agreement. If more than 60 on-call duties are needed, a local agreement is possible between the Group and Danske Kreds. You will hear more about this model in the run-up to next year’s Performance Appraisal. In other words, your salary will increase by a total of 5.85% over the next three years, broken down as follows: • July 2017: 1,90 pct. • July 2018: 1,95 pct. • July 2019: 2,00 pct. Working group on gross salary Danske Kreds and Danske Bank have agreed to set up a working group to discuss how the individual employee can be given greater freedom of choice in the composition of his or her salary. The group will investigate the possibilities for increasing the range of salary packages available so that, for example, they include paying for education and training via the employee’s gross salary. The group will also establish whether the gross salary can be expanded by partially or wholly including holi- Social provisions The right to part-time work for parents with small children – foster parents Vote In the Group collective agreement, the right to part-time work for parents with small children is being expanded to also include part-time work for foster parents with small children. Foster parents who have foster The vote among the members of Danske Kreds starts on 2 May. The final deadline for voting is 16 May at 12.00 noon.
