They want to make predictions about patterns observed during investigations. Relationships (relationships) are patterns that can be seen between two or more variables. Some of the variables may be time, distance, magnetic force, power, life, or many more. Let's look at some examples of these relationships. First let's talk about the relationship between sugar and energy of children. Suppose I want to do some research and make a hypothesis: Children have more energy when they take more sugar. If I want to do some research on this prediction, I'll have a group of children to give them candy (experimental group) and another group that does not give them candy (control group). I'm going to fill a table with my observations. Sure I'll note that children who ate sweets had more energy and those who did not eat sweets were quiet.
