The Bill of Rights
The Bill of Rights lists the first TEN Amendments to the US
Constitution, which affirm the individual worth and dignity of all
people. The Bill of Rights include 10 additions to the Constitution that
guaranteed personal freedoms and placed specific limits on the power
of government.

1st Amendment Freedoms
The Constitution of the United States establishes and protects the
citizens’ fundamental rights and liberties.
Few rights, if any, are considered absolute.
Religion:
The 5th and 14 Amendments outline
due process.
5th Amendment:
The 5th Amendment protects citizens
from being held for committing a
crime unless they have been charged
by the
police.
Speech:
It also guarantees due process,
which means that the state and the
country have to respect a citizen’s
legal rights.
14 Amendment:
The 14th Amendment declares no state
may deprive persons born or
naturalized in the United States equal
protection of the laws.
