All players place their counter on Iowa. 2. Roll numbers to see who goes first. Alternate turns between teams and partners. 3. Shuffle the cards. Place them writing side down on the table. 4. The first player rolls the die and moves that many states from the current state. Moves can be in any direction and must cross a border. (Washington to Alaska and California to Hawaii count as one move. 5. Take the top card and substitute that states votes for the variable. Solve the problem together and give a final answer. The other team checks it on the calculator. Correct: mark the state with your team color; you win those points Incorrect: State remains open 6. Next person does steps 4-5. Won states still count as moves. 32 6.11 Equivalent Equations.notebook February 27, 2015 Due tomorrow : • Math Boxes 6.11 • Study Link 6.11 Sign/Return 33 6.11 Equivalent Equations.notebook February 27, 2015 34 6.11 Equivalent Equations.notebook February 27, 2015 35 6.11 Equivalent Equations.notebook February 27, 2015 Journal pages replaced with notebook work 36 6.11 Equivalent Equations.notebook February 27, 2015 37 6.11 Equivalent Equations.notebook February 27, 2015 38 6.11 Equivalent Equations.notebook February 27, 2015 Other Resources and Links 39
