WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This has a positive electrical charge
and is found inside the nucleus.
This has no charge (neutral). It is
also found in the nucleus.
These have a negative electrical
charge and orbit the nucleus.
It is important to remember that the number of electrons is always the same as the number of protons
in an atom. This is because the number of positive charges and negative charges must balance out (or
otherwise we would get an electric shock every time we touched something).
