Roman god character Sketch SAMPLE *NOTE this is ROMAN not GREEK mythology, so you will not be able to use this character. Jupiter
Jupiter is the “supreme god of the Pagans.” Everything about his looks suggests
majesty, dignity, and authority. His appearance can create a sense of terror, but it
can also produce gratitude along with a healthy dose of respect. He typically sits
on heaven’s throne with lightning in his right hand and a scepter in his left. He
often rides horses through heaven which creates rumbles of thunder.
Jupiter was supposed to be the wisest of the gods, yet he is most known for his
vices. He was a warrior, leading armies to fight the Titans. He was also known to
react to injustice, swiftly sending punishment in creative ways. As the “lord of
life,” Jupiter had the power over life and death. Jupiter’s reign was not as great as
his father’s. People were not as happy with Jupiter so they called the time of his
leadership, “the silver age.” Jupiter never comes to earth to visit man, but remains
on his throne as ruler.
Jupiter is best known for saving his father, Saturn, from the Titans. He
gathered an army of Cretans and CecrApes, but after the CecrApes took his
money, he changed them into Apes. After rescuing Saturn from the Titans, Jupiter
forced all the gods to swear allegiance to him. When Saturn became jealous of
Jupiter’s power, Jupiter threw him into Tartarus and became the supreme ruler of
the gods.
