SUBJECT NAME:
ORAL COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUES ORAL EXPRESSION.
TEACHING STAFF:
Antonio Mula Franco ........................................ ([email protected])
ACADEMIC YEAR:
2012-2013
OBJECTIVES:
The subject is aimed at outlining, explaining and going into oral expression and communication in
depth, thus trying to recover the “tertulia time” (typical Spanish informal social gatherings or get
together) as a common good. In tertulia, language demands a reflexive attitude, a more or less
deep assimilation of one´s own experience, and personal eleboration. This personal elaboration is
used to achieve the command of the language by means of the suggestion of words, the voice, the
intonation pauses, silences, repetitions, gesture, the widening of vocabulary and error correction.
The subject enhances the capacity of expressing oneself in public and the possiblility of mastering
creative language, with the key objective of becoming a better person, not only to be able to inform
others, but to communicate betweeen ourselves more and better.
METHODOLOGY:
It will be a continuous evaluation through direct interventions of all students with the teacher. The
student-teacher interaction will be the habitual way of communication in the classroom, as to speak
and to listen.
EVALUTION SYSTEM:
As prevously said, it will be a CONTINOUS EVALUATION, because the subject is mainly a
practical one. In any other way, the sense of the subject would be useless
