FREE BRACES SCREENINGS FOR ORTHODONTIC HEALTH MONTH
Screening being offered to identify whether interceptive treatment needed by
Johns Creek orthodontist, Dr. Ricci
(JOHNS CREEK, GA) 9/21/15— For most children, October means one thing:
Halloween candy. For orthodontists, it’s a month for embracing a beautiful, healthy
smile in honor of National Orthodontic Health Month.
That’s why Johns Creek orthodontist Dr. Steven Ricci of Ricci Orthodontics offers
patients and the entire community four dates for Free Orthodontic Screenings. The
American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that all children have a
check-up with an orthodontic specialist no later than age 7.
15 minute screenings are being offered from 7:00am – 8:00am the first 4
Tuesdays - October 1st, October 8th, October 15th and October 22nd.
“I’m really disappointed when options for correcting problems are limited due to patients
waiting so long to seek orthodontic care,” says Dr. Ricci. “I want everyone to have as
many options for treatment available as possible. Early detection and interceptive
treatments are appropriate to address many issues from protrusion, crowding, diastema
(spacing) and crossbites when addressed early. This can save patients time in
treatment and create a beautiful, healthy smile for a lifetime.”

About Dr. Steven Ricci
Dr. Ricci has had an orthodontic practice in Johns Creek, GA since 1998. He did his
undergraduate work at Wake Forest University and graduated from Medical College of
Virginia School of Dentistry program then completed an additional two-year, advanced
educational program in orthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy School of
Dentistry. Orthodontists are uniquely qualified dental specialists who diagnose, prevent
and treat dental and facial irregularities to correctly align teeth and jaws.
