OPENING DAY MAY 20th

It is our mission to:



Provide a marketing opportunity for local producers in the New River Valley and surrounding regions.
Provide a source of local products for residents of the City of Radford.
Perform a community congregation by providing quality goods to residents in a pleasant environment that
complements patronage of other local businesses.
RADFORD FARMERS MARKET REGULATIONS
Management:
The Radford Farmers Market is run by a committee under the supervision of the Chamber of
Commerce. The committee is organized of a group of Radford Farmers’ Market Vendors, with one individual
acting as the Market Manager. This committee will be in charge of running the market, such as: recruiting and
approving vendors, assigning spaces, establishing and enforcing market policies, promoting the market and
supervising weekly operations. Final decisions, issues, or exceptions must be approved by the Chamber.
Vendors set & display their own prices of their goods. Vendors are responsible for accurately representing
their products. Vendors must make appropriate adjustment of any consumer's reasonable claim of
unsatisfactory quality or condition. We ask that Vendors actively participate in recruitment and advertising (ie.
Word of mouth, distribution of fliers, social media) as well.
We strive to provide a safe, pleasant and fun environment for all participants. We will hold a variety of
meetings, get-togethers and forums outside of the Market hours. These gatherings are not only informational,
but also allow you as a vendor to give valuable input. Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
