Aeromedical is an interactive web course in medical
treatment onboard a passenger aircraft and is meant
as a preparation for practical lessons in the classroom
together with an instructor.
The course is available both as Initial Aeromedical
but may also be used as a web based programme
before practical recurrent training.
The Aeromedical programme may be customised for
each airline’s procedures and equipment used onboard
their aircraft at an additional cost.
Some parts of the medical training, such as for example
CPR, must be physically practised in the classroom.
The course is developed for both Cabin- and
Flight Crew and for various medical situations that
might occur onboard an aircraft.
The main objective of the course is to guarantee that
you know enough about the human body and symptoms
of the various sicknesses that might occur onboard.
You will be able to make the right decision about what the
passenger is suffering from and what treatment you need
to give him/her.
The web based training programme
is approximately equal to 5 hours in
the classroom.
You can save money! You don’t need
to organize a classroom session –
the student can log in wherever they
are in the world and do their training
via the web.
The course fulfils all the requirements
of the Aviation Authorities and JAR-OPS.
Aeromedical is designed used a
number of lecture modules which
in a simple and educational way
describe reasons, symptoms, and
treatments in both words and
pictures.
