This is your weekly spelling contract homework and a great way to study your spelling words!
Choose up to 30 points worth of activities to complete this week. Attach all of your work
to this paper, submit to me electronically, or get a parent signature if there is no work to
attach. Everything is due FRIDAY!

Activity:
Write or type the words in ABC order.
Write or type each word three times.
Write or type each word and circle/highlight all the vowels.
Write or type each word and circle/highlight all the consonants.
Rainbow write or type your words-each letter in a different color.
Write or type a sentence using each word.
Have someone give you a practice test of your words.
Write or type each word neatly in cursive.
Write or type a synonym (another word that means the same) for each
word.
Write or type an antonym (a word that means the opposite) for each
word.
Write your spelling words and next to them write a rhyming word.
Underline your spelling word! Ex: make-cake
If you are right-handed, write your words with your left hand. If you
are left-handed, write your words with your right hand.
Write each spelling word forwards, then backwards.
Write each spelling word in a continuous line to form a picture or a
design.
Write or type a question for each spelling word. Then answer each
question using the spelling word.
*Write your words in whipped cream, peanut butter, or anything you
can eat.
*In a dark room, use a flashlight to draw letters against a wall.
*Use play-doh or modeling clay to make each of your spelling words.
*Play with and practice your spelling words on spellingcity.com. Hover
over the search button and click “Teachers/Parents”. Type in Amanda
Ramirez and select my account. Then find the unit and week that we’re
working on.
Draw a picture of each of your spelling words. Write the word
underneath the picture.
Make a word map for your spelling patterns using Popplet.
Sort your spelling words using your own categories.
Write or type a story using all of your spelling words (circle them)
Write or type the dictionary definition for each word.
