Trade Barriers
Every economy benefits from trade with foreign countries. Sometimes, governments will
choose to impose trade barriers that limit or prevent foreign trade. Match the trade barriers
listed below with their definitions on the chart.
Governmental Trade Barriers

Definition
Limiting the amount of products that can come into a country.
Cutting off trade to a particular country for political reasons.

government.
