5/15/2017 Job Ad Display Ambitious Project Manager to build up strategic Sourcing Development Project Management Denmark Bagsværd This position offers an opportunity to be part of building up the Project Office in a Sourcing Development function and drive strategic development projects across Novo Nordisk global procurement operations. About the department The position is based in the Sourcing Development team which is part of Corporate Procurement. Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy. Corporate Procurement consists of 140 employees based in Denmark and India, and globally 400 people work in procurement. Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Novo Nordisk. The Position As part of Sourcing Development, you will join a team of more than 10 highly talented Project Managers, Business Development Managers and Data Analytics Professionals split between a Business Intelligence team and a Project Office. As a Project Manager, you will join the Project Office and report directly to the director of Sourcing Development. You will take part in building a strong Project Office and participate in driving strategic development of Novo Nordisk global procurement operations. You will identify and execute key initiatives and improve projects with focus on sourcing, both internally in Corporate Procurement and across regions. You will support defining a strong international functional management setup, optimise global sourcing excellence practices and tools, ensure effective category portfolio management and development of global category strategies and operating models in collaboration with Sourcing Managers and Category Managers, covering a yearly spend of more than 25 bDKK. Qualifications You have completed a Master's degree (e.g. in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar) with excellent results. You bring a solid project management toolbox build in 25 years of experience working with procurement, project management or business development in a leading organisation or as a management consultant from a top tier consultancy. You are known for your strong drive and ability to create results, your problem solving & analytical skills and an international mindset. As you will cooperate broadly with many stakeholders, you have excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills and you communicate clearly and concisely.
