it helped the North but hurt the South

Citizens were able to travel faster from place
to place. Industrialization and urbanization
grew and expanded westward.

and marketed, nationally and
internationally?
Innovations helped to change the
citizen’s lives, taking away jobs done by
hand that took days to complete.
Industries got the job done quicker.
11. How did technological innovations bring
about economic growth?
Citizens moved from small farms rural area to
big cities. People in the cities were able to find
jobs and get paid more than what they would on
a farm.
