Styrofoam
First we measured and
cut the Styrofoam
We used Styrofoam
because it was thick and
would be able to contain
the heat
On the inside of the
Styrofoam was some
reluctant material which
could also keep the heat
in
Cotton Balls
Cotton balls are keep in
heat as well as produce
heat so we decided to use
them in our insulator
We then hot glued the
cotton balls onto the
Styrofoam
Tin Foil
Tin foil is a great insulator and reflects
the heat there for spreading it through
our the insulator.
to attach it we hot glued it on top of the
cotton balls
Gluing together
To seal it all we hot glued the pieces
together and wrapped it in duck
tape so it would be water proof
For the lid we took a piece of
Styrofoam and clued some cotton
balls onto it and then duck tapped
it down like a hinge
Water Proof
To make it water proof we
also decided to wrap it in
plastic wrap so water
couldn’t get in.
Final
insulator
We tried to make the
insulator very small so the
heat from the water was
contained and didn’t have
that much room to escape
