Who needs 7% gravity on Earth when you can have
8% gravity. Pluto's orbit is inclined, or tilted, 17.1
degrees from the ecliptic -- the plane that Earth
orbits in. Except for Mercury's inclination of 7
degrees, all the other planets orbit more closely to
the ecliptic. Pluto’s average orbital speed is a slow
4.7kms per second.
In 2006, NASA dispatched an ambassador to the
planetary frontier: The New Horizons spacecraft,
now more than halfway between Earth and Pluto, is
on approach for a dramatic flight past the icy dwarf
planet and its moons in July 2015.After 10 years and
more than 3 billion miles, on a historic voyage that
has already taken it over the storms and around the
moons of Jupiter, New Horizons will shed light on
new kinds of worlds on the outskirts of the solar
system.

Fun Fact
You did not know that Pluto is the god of death in
roman mythology

Since first being discovered in 1930, by amateur
American astronomer Clyde Tombaug, PLUTO
is 2/3 the size of Earth’s Moon and known as the
“Dwarf Planet: Pluto has one moon, Charon,
which was discovered in 1978. The satellite may
be a chunk that broke off Pluto in a collision
with another large object.
In Just a mere 30-49 AU from the sun or 4.4-7.4
billion kilometers away PLUTO is only a couple
of lifetimes away Did you know in Pluto’s
rotation can get closer to the sun than Neptune
Pluto takes a short time of 247.68 year to make
a lap around the sun.Pluto's orbit is the only
planetary orbit which crosses that of another
planet (during 1999 Pluto will again cross
Neptune's orbit, thus regaining its status as the
most distant planet)
You can relax on the planet of PLUTO that is
mostly made out of ice fragment and rock.
While most of the other outer planets are
“gaseous”: Pluto is the only planet that is “solid”
Using new ground-based instrumentation
available in the early 1990s, observers
discovered ices of water, carbon monoxide, and
molecular nitrogen. Although nitrogen’s
spectral signature is intrinsically very weak, it is
now clear that this substance must be the
dominant surface constituent. The methane is
present both as patches of pure methane ice
and as a frozen “solution” of methane in the
nitrogen ice. Remember to pack lots of Warm
Clothing as the average temperature is -229C
