NSF Super Combined Financial Services Guide (FSG) Issue Date: 1 July 2016 About this Guide This Combined Financial Services Guide (FSG) has been prepared, authorised and issued by NSF Nominees Pty Limited (ABN 29 053 228 667, Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) 253129) and by Link Advice Pty Limited (ABN 36 105 811 836, AFSL 258145) (Link Advice). This FSG is for members and employer sponsors of, and anyone thinking of becoming a member or employer sponsor of, Nationwide Superannuation Fund (ABN 15 201 768 813) (NSF Super). It is designed to assist you in deciding whether to use any of the services offered in this guide. It contains information about remuneration that may be paid to the financial services licensees and other relevant persons in relation to the services offered, as well as information on how complaints against the financial services licensees are dealt with. If you need more information or clarification of any matter raised in this FSG, please contact either NSF Nominees Pty Limited (the Trustee) or its outsourced administration service provider, PSI Superannuation Management Pty Limited (PSI). If you decide to use NSF Super, you will also be provided with a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) which contains the key features and conditions of the product. The purpose of the PDS is to disclose all of the information reasonably required to enable you to determine whether the product is appropriate for you. You can give instructions by contacting the NSF Super call centre on 1800 025 241. In some circumstances you will need to complete a form before we can act on your instructions, in which case we will inform you of what forms need to be completed and how you can obtain them. Select employees of PSI are authorised by Link Advice to provide general financial product advice on superannuation. General advice does not take into account your particular financial needs, circumstances or objectives and you should assess your own financial situation and read the PDS before making an investment decision based on the advice. Who will be responsible for the provision of financial advice services? General financial product advice specific to superannuation and NSF Super may be provided via: • Written material and website content published by NSF Super, where advice is provided under the Trustee’s AFSL; • Dealing with Relationship Managers employed by the Trustee, where advice is provided under the Trustee’s AFSL; or • Contacting the NSF Super call centre, where you will speak with an employee of PSI and advice is provided by them as a representative of Link Advice. The Trustee will be responsible for any financial product advice services provided to you by it, or any of its employees or otherwise authorised by it, or any of its employees. Link Advice will be responsible for any financial product advice services provided by its representatives (including employees of PSI). Are there any relationships or associations which might influence the financial services provided? The Trustee does not have any association or relationship with any product issuer that could be expected to influence the provision of financial product advice. Link Advice has also been contracted with the Trustee to provide general and personal financial product advice directly to NSF members, if requested by a member. If you are not satisfied with how your complaint is handled or the resolution offered, you may be able to take your complaint to one of the following external dispute resolution bodies: For complaints handled by the Trustee, you can make a complaint to The Superannuation Complaints Tribunal (SCT), an independent body established by the Federal Government. If the SCT can deal with your complaint, it will attempt to resolve the complaint through conciliation. If that is unsuccessful, the SCT will review the decision or conduct to which the complaint relates. FOS is an independent body set up to assist consumers in the resolution of complaints relating to Financial services. FOS may be able to assist you to resolve your complaint but will only become involved after you have made use of our own complaints handling process. The Trustee pays PSI ongoing fees for providing administration services in accordance with a written agreement between the Trustee and PSI. These fees are met by NSF Super membership fees which are levied to meet the overall costs of running and managing NSF Super (including fees paid to PSI). For information relating to the administration fees levied by the Trustee, please refer to the relevant PDS. Neither the Trustee nor PSI pay or receive commissions. NSF Super and PSI employees are paid by salary, which may include a performance-related bonus. However they do not receive any commissions or payments for the financial product advice provided to you. Apart from this, no additional remuneration is paid, or benefit provided to the providing entity; the authorising licensee or related body corporate of the providing entity; a director or employee of the authorising licensee or the providing entity (other than normal wages and salary of employees); associate(s) of any of the above; or any other person. What compensation arrangements are in place? The Trustee and Link Advice both have Professional Indemnity insurance arrangements in place to compensate persons for loss or damage due to breaches of any relevant legislative obligations. These arrangements satisfy the requirements of section 912B of the Corporations Act 2001 and cover claims arising from the conduct of current and former employees.
