The COURTYARD® Collection Rose Collections Climbing or rambling roses. The roses climb with the aid of their thorns or by training. The flowers are either double or semi-double. Several varieties have got flowers with the antique look and are also scented. The thing that differentiates the Courtyard® Collection from more traditional climbers and ramblers is the way they will set flowers all the way from the bottom of the plant. This way they provide “flowering columns” with no bare stem to be seen. There are two types of roses in the Courtyard® Collection: Courtyard® Climbers, growing to a height of 150-200 cm and Courtyard® Ramblers which will grow to a height of 200-300 cm. Poulsen Roser A/S The COTTAGE® Collection Sensational roses for use as bedding plants. Never has your garden had so much colour throughout the season. Over the last 10 years Poulsen Roser A/S of Denmark have with painstaking efforts in their rose breeding managed to develop the Bedding Plant Rose™. The way these roses can be presented to the consumer and also the way they can be grown by the consumer as well as their performance is in itself a revolution. Four plants will cover a square metre and from the time of planting they will quickly start flowering without stop throughout the season, and in autumn they will finish off with nice coloured hips. Plants grow easy and can be pruned according to the taste of the consumer or not at all. With no pruning the plants will grow to about a metre. We call them in this case the cubic metre roses! • Breeder of roses and clematis • Founded in 1878 • 60 million Poulsen roses are produced via license every year • 2 million Poulsen clematis are produced via license every year • Products from Poulsen Roser A/S are produced in more than 50 countries worldwide • Joint Venture with Rosanova ApS regarding roses • Joint Venture with Raymond J. They have large rosebuds and are usually grown in 5 to 6 cm pots to an overall height of 12 to 14 cm. They will fit in everywhere in the house and are well suited for use on the windowsill and are especially ideal for table decorations. Place a Party® rose next to each plate, and they will make a well provided table even more beautiful! The CASTLE® Collection Modern bouquet rose, very compact and bushy of growth. The double or semi-double flowers are spread out on the whole plant with many flowers on each stem. They reach a height of 80-100 cm. Their flowers have got the “old-fashioned” look of the “antique” roses, which means that they have the quartered form. Castle® roses do not demand as much space as the original bouquet roses, and are therefore very suitable for the patio. All varieties have more or less rose scent, and all are named after castles. The VICTORY® Collection If very large flowers and compact growth are priorities, then a Victory® rose is a natural choice. The roses are very durable and one of their characteristics is their wonderful scent. Grown to a height of 24 to 25 cm in 9 to 10 cm pots, the Victory® collection is ideal for table decorations, alone on the windowsill, or in a bowl of plants, and will spread joy for a very long time. The Floribunda POULSEN® Collection The floribunda roses are colloquially called bouquet roses. They have big, half filled flowers. They easily reach a height of 100-150 cm by moderate pruning. The plants are bushy and take up space. They are very winter hardy. Very beautiful in traditional rosebeds or as individual plants with perennials or other cover plants. The PARADE® Collection The Parade® roses are available in all colours and are grown in 8-11 cm pots to an overall height of 27-29 cm. Use Parade® roses singly or a few together in a basket indoors, or see them thrive in the winter garden, on the terrace, or planted out in the beds! The Parade® roses have large rosebuds and produce a large number of flowers per plant. They can endure a certain amount of drying out before losing buds. All the varieties have a long keeping quality. The PARAMOUNT® Collection These roses are more compact compared to the traditional largeflowering roses. The flowers are big and double and grow 2-3 on each stem. All varieties have a strong scent. The plants reach a height of 80-100cm. Suitable for large pots, in the terrace beds, or in less spacious places where the plants should not grow too big or wide. The PATIOHIT® Collection Roses in the PatioHit® collection are compact and bushy plants and are very resistant to diseases. They have large flowers and very large rosebuds in strong colours. As the name suggests, these roses are especially suited to be placed on the patio in large pots or tubs. Used in the house, the PatioHit® roses look fantastic as a single pot plant or 3 together in a basket on the floor. They can endure a certain amount of drying out before losing buds. All the varieties have a long keeping quality. The Hybrid Tea POULSEN® Collection In everyday speech these roses are called the large-flowering roses. The flowers a placed in clusters of 3-5 per stem. Usually, the flowers are big and double. Suitable for planting as a solitaire or in a group. Should be planted in a sunny and airy environment. The PALACE® Collection The Palace® roses are bushy and compact polyantha roses, growing to an overall height of 40-50 cm. This type of rose has large, double flowers and will bloom continuously during summer. They make good cut flowers and the varieties have a rose scent. All the varieties have a long keeping quality. With Palace® roses you can move the living room into the garden or move the garden into the living room as they are very suitable for indoor use and are ideal for pots and tubs outside. The RENAISSANCE® Collection Tall, bushy, free flowering roses. The flowers are clustered 3-5 flowers per stem and they are double or semi-double with an “old-fashioned” look, like the antique roses. All the varieties have an intense fragrance. The plants reach a height of 100-150 cm and a width of approx. 100 cm. The Renaissance® Collection combines the appeal of the nostalgic, fragrant roses of the old days with the benefits of modern roses; repeat flowering, compact plants, and disease resistance. www.poulsenroser.com www.poulsenroser.com
