1 Spin and Round Record Sheet for each player

1 pencil and 1 large paperclip for the spinner

1 Shuffle the cards and place the deck
number-side down.

Players take turns. When it is your turn:

• Spin the spinner and record on your
Spin and Round Record Sheet whether you
must round to the nearest 10 or the nearest 100.
• Take 3 cards from the deck and make a 3-digit number.
• Round the 3-digit number to the nearest 10 or the
nearest 100, depending on your spin.
• Record both the original number and the rounded number
on your record sheet. See the example on the next page.

After 5 turns, each player finds the total sum of their
rounded numbers.

The player with the largest total sum wins the game.
Variation
Take 4 cards and make 4-digit numbers.
