Reliable and secure
With UBS SWIFT for Corporates, you gain direct access
to the global financial services industry
Purpose
Direct access to SWIFT
UBS SWIFT for Corporates offers international companies and
corporations secure, reliable and direct access to the financial
industry. We offer three access models: SCORE, MA-CUG
and TRCO, as well as the SWIFTNet FIN and SWIFTNet FileAct
services.

Standardized Corporate Environment – SCORE
SCORE can generally be accessed by any company. Unlike in
the past, when participation in SCORE was the sole preserve
of listed companies, all that has been needed since 2010 is
a sponsorship letter from a bank that takes part in SCORE.
This now also allows unlisted companies to also take part in
SCORE.
The SCORE service is based on a Closed User Group administered by SWIFT. As an associated company, SCORE allows
you to use SWIFT services with all participating financial
institutions. The services and message types supported are
determined by the respective financial institution, based on
the SCORE Implementation Guides.
Member Administered Closed User Group – MA-CUG
MA-CUG is available to all corporate clients and is a Closed
User Group administered by the financial institution. It differs
from SCORE in that you are able to exchange SWIFT messages
only with financial institutions with which you have concluded
a MA-CUG agreement for SWIFT. We administer a MA-CUG
with the same services and message types as SCORE.
Treasury Counterparty – TRCO
As a TRCO, a company is able to exchange forex or option
transaction confirmations with all financial institutions that
are connected to SWIFT. This provides access to financial institutions that neither participate in SCORE nor administer
a MA-CUG.
Anschlussmöglichkeiten
There are three different forms of connection to “UBS SWIFT
for Corporates” available to corporate clients. In the case of
a direct connection, the client maintains its own technical
connection and exchanges messages (SWIFTNet FIN) or files
(SWIFTNet FileAct) directly via SWIFT. If a client opts for connection via a service bureau, it sends messages and files to the
service bureau via an internet connection, where they
can be converted if required. The service bureau maintains the
SWIFT access for each client, while the client continues to
use its own BIC address. A third option, “SWIFT Alliance Lite”,
is available to clients with a low volume of messages and files.
This provides access to SWIFT via a web browser for manual
uploading and downloading of messages, or Windows-based
software for the automated transfer of messages and files.
