Generate your Power Photovoltaic off grid systems With over 60 years of experience in power conversion, AEG Power Solutions has developed a turnkey solution for photovoltaic off grid systems, for power from 60kWc to 250kWc, 500VDC / 400VAC. This system allows you to feed a village, a district, a station, in areas that are far away from the electricity grid connection. The system consists of: •A photovoltaic plant divided into strings through outdoor junction boxes, ne or several diesel generators (if existing), •O •O ne to three UPS (400VAC 3P + N, 50-60Hz) in parallel, fed by the generator, • A battery connected to UPS (NiCd or Lead acid - open or sealed depending on the level of local maintenance - customized to the power and the backup time at night, 1 or 2 strings), • A PV string collector cabinet with PV string current monitoring, fuse protection and NRC50 controller, • A cabinet integrating upstream and downstream AC UPS protections, DC battery protections, PV current isolating means and a manual by-pass allowing the generator to feed directly the consumers. The system handles: • Production of photovoltaic power during the day, • Storing the surplus in the battery for a refund during the night, • Starting the generator in case of over-consumption (compared with the available solar energy) or for battery charging, • Temperature compensation for a fully optimized battery charging regime and periodic high rate charge by generator, • Battery thermal protection, overvoltage protection, voltage asymmetry detection, • Communication between UPS and NRC50, • Monitoring of the installation, with different operating conditions, safety devices control, alarms management and report, settings menu and data display, • The record of solar energy, energy to consumers, • PV Module failure detection by comparing the string currents, • Remote connection through GSM, SMS alarm message transmission, TCP-IP, • The connection to the remote system for monitoring and troubleshooting assistance through multi-site supervision, • Backup functions of the facility (intruder detection, lightning protection, solar radiation and temperature measurement...). agence : yvydy.
