DRUG EDUCATION WEBSITE
CRITIQUE
Planning 10
Zach Zimmerman
TALKTOFRANK.COM
• The website is very attractive to look at with white and black boxes with
colourful pictures in the background that make it contrast sharply.
• The information is easy to find, with simply labelled boxes that give you a
general idea of what there is on the other pages and clicking them will send
you to other pages with the details.
TALKTOFRANK.COM
This website has lots of information
for teens and is easy to navigate.
Also the site is appealing to teens.
X-PERIMENT.CA
• The website has a good use of images that make the website attractive to
the eye.
• Easy to follow and get around, well organized.
• Young people would find this site engaging. The images and colours make it
more attractive to look at and the use of videos makes the site more
appealing.
• The website is informative and organized to a point. The site has a
appealing way of organization, using interactive pictures to navigate it.
However what is being said on those pages is not clearly said.
X-PERIMENT.CA
This site has good information with
easy access that is appealing to a
young audience. However the test
yourself section is what makes the
website as it makes it interactive
which will lead to teens becoming
more comfortable with the site.
NATIONAL ANTI-DRUG STRATEGY.CA
• Teens would not find this website engaging. The website has good facts, but
the use of images and colours make it a little on the dull of things. As well it’s
a government website, which most of the people who think about drugs
despise.
• Is the website informative, organized, easy to navigate?
• The website itself has great facts, and they are quite easy to find. All
information on the page is well organized in a way to get information across.
NATIONAL ANTI-DRUG STRATEGY.CA
This website has lots of
information but lacks the
appeal to young
audiences who are more
likely to do drugs.
JUST THINK TWICE.COM
• Good presentation, not to colourful but just enough to attract the eye to the
key parts. Good use of images.
• Explains the effects that may stray people away from drugs.
• Great organization, the search includes street names if you don’t know the
real one.
• The consequences page on the website provides a good source as to what
drugs do to your life.
JUST THINK TWICE.COM
• Young people would find this website engaging. The website has a great
presentation and is attractive to the eye. It also has more focus more on
people in the teen age group.
• Justhinktwice.com has a variety of tabs which are easily moved between
and found. These different pages are full of good information and are easy
to access.
JUST THINK TWICE.COM
The true stories page of this
website drove home the
reality of drugs. Other
websites have true stories
but not ones that teens
connect with. Theses stories
are easy to relate to.
WHICH WEBSITE WOULD YOU RECOMMEND
MOST FOR USE IN PLANNING 10 CLASSES?
• For use in Planning 10 Classes I would recommend Justthinktwice.com
because of its relatable true stories section wealth of drug knowledge that is
appealing to a young audience and is easy to find.
