Why Enterprise? • With QuickBooks pushing into higher markets we are starting to get more interest in the high end of town with our POS Products. This means we need to cater to a higher tier of customer • Retail Point of Sale Enterprise is powered by Microsoft SQL which allows us to build systems which can be used on demand and require no interruption to perform basic tasks such as backing the database up • By using the SQL backend, we are able to offer our clients the ability to build their own customised reporting, something that larger clients have requested for a number of years. Who should use Enterprise? • Enterprise is designed for businesses which have high volumes of transactional data and multiple terminals. It fixes many of the issues we have seen with the PDB based databases • Enterprise also is not a closed database. You can build custom reports for clients. Those clients which need customised reports should look at enterprise • Anyone who has experienced database locking in the past should be looking at Enterprise. Retail Starter Kit • In Australia we recently changed our hardware provider to Senor • Senor has an office in New Zealand and as such we now can have common hardware in the two countries. This is a bonus for both countries as support is easier • With this in mind we are investigating bringing the Retail Starter Kit package to New Zealand to offer to our customers and AC’s • For those who don’t know that is a cash draw, receipt printer, QB software, POS Software and scanner for a very low price (currently $999 AUD).
