Relational Database Model
â Basic Structure
â¢ RDBMS allows operations in a human logical
environment.
â¢ The relational database is perceived as a
collection of tables.
â¢ Each table consists of a series of row/column
intersections.
â¢ Tables (or relations) are related to each other by
sharing a common entity characteristic.
â¢ The relationship type is often shown in a relational
schema.
â¢ A table yields complete data and structural
independence.
