INSTRUCTIONS:
Use the Internet information linked in the website listed above to answer the basic questions of
whom? What? Where? When? Why? and how? Be creative in exploring the information so that you
answer these questions as fully and insightfully as you can.
1. Pairs will explore each task below; there are 4.
2. Read through the files linked to your task. When you look at the files on the computer, copy
sections you feel are important by dragging the mouse across the passage and copying / pasting it
into Microsoft Word. Then, extract the main ideas and a few supporting details (putting the
information from the internet into your own words). Remember to write down or copy/paste the
URL of the file you take the passage from so you can quickly go back to it if you need to prove your
point.
3. Be prepared to summarize what you've learned into four paragraphs (one for each task). Be
prepared to teach what you’ve learned to another group.
