PRE-REGISTRATION
All participants, including invited speakers and committee members are asked to submit the attached
pre-registration form together with the abstract of their presentation electronically to
[email protected] at their earliest convenience and no later than March 31.
The maximal capacity of the ETOX meeting is 180 participants and submission of poster abstracts is
encouraged to allow selection of active participants.
REGISTRATION
Participants admitted to the meeting will be notified by April 14 and asked to submit a more detailed
registration and accommodation form accompanied by payment via bank transfer by May 16.

ABSTRACTS
All participants presenting a poster, invited lecture, or a keynote lecture are expected to submit a one
page abstract no later than March 31. Poster abstracts will be used for participant selection if
needed and for last minute poster talk nominations (see below).
The "Abstract Book" will be distributed at arrival to Celakovice. Electronic abstract submission is
strongly encouraged. Please use the enclosed Abstract form or download it from the website.
Save your abstract text in your word processing software using the RTF format (.rtf) and submit it by
attaching it to a mail sent to [email protected] .
Please, avoid using BinHex encoding of attachments, use MIME instead.

POSTERS
Poster presentations are encouraged. Posters will be presented at two posters sessions starting on
Sunday and Tuesday. Selected posters from young researchers will be presented orally at the Tuesday
night session. Instructions for poster preparation will be mailed with the acceptance letter in due time.
MANUSCRIPTS (for speakers only)
The speaker’s papers will be published in a special issue of Folia Microbiologica (see
http://www.biomed.cas.cz/mbu/folia/ ) after the meeting. The instructions for the preparations of
these manuscripts will be mailed with the final registration and accommodation form. One hardcopy
accompanied by electronic version on a floppy disk or CD of the manuscript should be delivered no
later than July 2, 2003.
VENUE
The ETOX 11 meeting will be held at Residence and Conference Inn, CMC Graduate School of
Business in Celakovice near Prague. Celakovice is a and calm city of Central Bohemia located at the
river Elbe, at 30 km eastern (30 min by train) from the historical center of Prague and within 60 min
driving from the Prague International Airport.
Accommodation will be in apartments comprising two twin-bed rooms plus kitchenette, or
individual twin-bed rooms and apartments with a bedroom, living and bathroom. Each type of
accommodation comprises private WC and shower (bathroom), telephone and hard-wired Internet.
Pleasant walking and jogging trails around the river, as well as a nice lake for swimming are in
proximity of CMC. A fitness and service center and a computer room with Internet are on-site.
TRAVEL
by plane
The nearest airport is Prague International Airport. A shuttle service will be organized from the
airport to take you immediately to Celakovice. The site is also in reach of an official airport cab
by train
A train trip to Celakovice takes 30 min from the "Masarykovo nadrazi" Station in the center of
Prague. Trains leave every half an hour. Less frequent connection from other railway stations in
Prague are available, too. A shuttle from the train station in Celakovice to the CMC conference center
will be organized.
by car
Celakovice are within 30 minutes of driving from the center of Prague.
Costs for shuttle services from the airport/train station to the conference facilities are not included in
the registration and accommodation fees. Information on the shuttle services will be available in due
time.
