This includes health services research using large data sets to evaluate the quality of cancer care and intervention studies to facilitate the transition from active treatment into survivorship. I collaborate with a number of other researchers on related projects. I mentor a number of nursing and other professional students in cancer research as well as junior School of Nursing Faculty. TEACHING STATEMENT My focus is on preparing the next generation of adult gerontology nurse practitioners with a focus on cancer care and other interested clinicians regardless of type of preparation using innovative student-centered methods.
