OZAN BIRON: I’ve always had a passion for cars. I used to get in trouble driving my cars, like,
in my food when I was younger.
[Video footage]
In a fenced parking lot, brown-haired Ozan stands leaning back against the front passenger
side of the parked car, which has the hood raised. One man wearing headphones holds a
boom microphone up in the air as another person films.

OZAN BIRON: My name is Ozan Biron and I’m from Vancouver, BC.
I used to have four cars and they all were Corollas. I’m down to two. This one, which is my
daily and track car, and I have another one, which is like the ultimate track car.
[Video footage]
Ozan drives his gray GT-S onto a track with a white Corolla.
[Text displays at bottom of screen]
Closed course. Do not attempt.
[Audio]
OZAN BIRON: This is a AE ‘86 Corolla GT-S.
[Video footage]
In a garage, Ozan stands by the GT-S’s raised hood and studies the engine.
[Audio]
OZAN BIRON: Everything’s been stripped out, so I have no heat, no power steering…it’s as
raw as it gets.
[Video footage]

Ozan and other drivers race around the track. Next, in the driver’s seat, Ozan displays his ear
plugs before driving along city streets.
[Audio]
OZAN BIRON: I actually drive with earplugs to work, because it’s loud.
It’s just a...it’s a pure disturber, which I love.
[Video footage]
In the lot, Ozan stands beside his car.
[Audio]
OZAN BIRON: I am a filmmaker/director.
[Video footage]
Ozan secures a video camera to the passenger side of his car using boom stands attached to
the front windshield and side panel. He aims the lens at three male actors standing behind the
car.
[Audio]
OZAN BIRON: Uh, I do a lot of commercials, short films and stories.
[Video footage]
In a dim garage, Ozan sits in front of the parked GT-S.

OZAN BIRON: I love cars. I love everything to do with cars, especially when cars are in
movement.
[Video footage]
Ozan’s gray Corolla speeds around the track with the other cars.
[Sound effect]
Engines roaring.
[Audio]
OZAN BIRON: Everything from the sound that cars make to the performance of what cars do. I
don’t know. It’s almost like a getaway. Like, once you get into your car and just to cruise
around is almost kind of like mesmerizing, almost like a relaxing atmosphere, I find.
[Video footage]
Leaves blow across the track as Ozan speeds past a low concrete retaining wall.
Elsewhere, Ozan talks with the three male actors. Next, he sits in the garage near his parked
Corolla.
[Audio]
OZAN BIRON: I recently did a commercial for Pennzoil—the airlift drift commercial.

A yellow Dodge Challenger Hellcat’s tachometer needle shifts past “six” as smoke rises from
the parked car’s spinning rear wheels. Next, the Hellcat zooms along city streets at night.
In the daytime, the crew films Ozan leaning against his GT-S in the parking lot.
[Text display at bottom of screen]
Professional drivers on a closed course. Do not attempt.
[Audio]
OZAN BIRON: Well, after seeing the Hellcat getting pushed to the limit, balls out, uh, it made
me actually really learn more about it, and what’s all about with the oil and, after seeing that, I
wanted to have the same stuff in my car. So, right after the commercial, I did some research
online, read more about it, and I threw it into my car.
[Video footage]

OZAN BIRON: Before I was using Royal Purple. That used to be my fall-to oil. Um, yeah,
Royal Purple. Um, Not anymore.

At night, the Hellcat darts past a faded logo—a large yellow oval with Pennzoil in black
letters—painted on a wooden fence lining a street.
[Audio]
