Parts of Speech Bingo!
6th grade
Teacher Directions
Create bingo boards with the following
parts of speech: Noun, Verb, Adverb,
Adjective, Pronoun.
Create bingo pieces for students to
cover the board.
Directions
Use
the board and color strips. Don’t erase
the board.
When I show you a sentence you need to
place a color strip on the correct part of
speech (see example)
If you are right you get to keep the space
covered, if not you must take it
off….cheating will get you kicked out of the
game.

is a proper noun, he is a
person (well, sort of!)

is a linking verb, connecting
Sarah and Cagney to what they were
doing, which was scampering!

COLLECTIVE NOUN
Murder is a collective noun.

help connect the noun with the rest
of the sentence.
