CII Naoroji Godrej Centre of Manufacturing Excellence Programme on Measuring Purchasing & Supply Performance 22 September 2016: Mumbai Context Measuring and evaluating performance is a key area which must not be neglected, as it is the basis for continued improvement. This programme will give you practical advice on what to measure and how to evaluate your purchasing and supply performance. The programme reviews the process of collecting, analysing and interpreting evaluation data, and of communicating and obtaining feedback on a performance evaluation. Learning Objectives 1. Describe which are the requirements of a good purchasing & supply performance evaluation system. 2. Describe how to define the scope of a purchasing & supply performance evaluation. 3. Describe the main performance areas and issues relating to the function’s desired outcomes, its internal management systems and people, and the external factors that have an impact on the way it works 4. Explain the main issues involved in analysing and interpreting the measurement data. Faculty: Pinak Kulkarni Pinak is a “Purchasing & Supply Chain focused Business Performance Improvement” practitioner of multiple improvement philosophies, tools and techniques. He has a long, extensive & global experience in Manufacturing Industry, Supply Chain & Technology Consulting and Training. He works in the domains of “Lean, Supply Chain Management, Supply Management, Inventory Management, Supply Strategy, Risk Management, Project Management, New Product Introductions” etc. In the Business Process Consulting assignments he has led and successfully delivered multiple projects for Fortune 500 companies in diversified and multiple industry sectors like Alternate Energy, Oil & Gas, Auto Ancillary, Pharmaceuticals and Insulation & Roofing Solutions across geographic locations like Germany, USA, West Indies, Vietnam, India & UK to name a few. Pinak has hands-on experience in the domain industry in which he has successfully played roles in Supply Chain Planning, Supply Planning, Third Party Purchase, Outsourcing, Vendor Development, Channel Partner Management, Inventory Management etc. He also was a key project resource for a large scale improvement project.
