To provide electricity (A.C) in such locations has created problems like electrical lines by using dynamo operated by hand crank. The dynamo is capable of delivering power to switch on the emergency head lamp. The dynamo uses electromagnetic principles to convert mechanical rotation into a direct current (DC). In this project we are generating electrical power as non-conventional method by Hand crank dynamo. In this project we are using hand crank dynamo, geared dc motor Reverse polarity preventer cum polarity corrector, A.C ripples neutralizer, unidirectional current controller and we use NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydrate Battery) which has high charge storing capability and long durability. It is a Rechargeable battery with specifications as 3.6V, 600mAh. AT89S52 micro controller is the heart of the circuit as it controls all the functions. A voltage sampler is interfaced with the system using ADC 0808 to get the voltage generated from hand cranked dynamo stored in battery as a display on a 16X2 LCD. A 12 V DC lead acid rechargeable battery is used for storing the energy. We are using conventional battery charging unit also for giving supply to the circuitry. This Conventional power source uses regulated 5V, 500mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac out put of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer.
